Casa Santa Sofia Hotel Rome

My cousin and I recently stayed at a well-located hotel in Rome, just a short distance from the Coliseum, Roman Forum, and other attractions. The neighborhood felt safe, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and amenities nearby. The hotel itself, run by adorable nuns, had a lovely charm to it. The breakfast was basic but delicious, with a variety of Italian pastries and beverages. I specifically requested a room overlooking the piazza, and the sight and sounds of the busy Fontana outside were captivating. The location was also convenient, with bus stations and the metro close by.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Firstly, the location was unbeatable. It was right in the heart of the city, close to all the major landmarks. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay. Thirdly, the room was clean and well-equipped, with nice little touches that made it feel cozy. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious, with a variety of pastries and buns included at a reasonable price.

I couldn't find a single thing to fault about this hotel. Everything was perfect!

The location was great, with key attractions like the Colosseum within walking distance. It was also conveniently located near a subway station, making it easy to explore the city. there were plenty of restaurants and shops in the area, providing a variety of options.

There were a few aspects that were disappointing. the Wi-Fi signal was weak and the speed was slow, making it difficult to use the internet.

Being situated in an old cobbled square beside a charming church added to the hotel's appeal.

The Wi-Fi quality at this hotel was not very good, both in the rooms and in the reception and dining area.

Conveniently located 8 min walk to Colosseum & 5 min to train station. Excellent restaurants, gelaterias & pharmacies nearby. Friendly & knowledgeable staff, especially Monica & Andrew. Prompt housekeeping service. Helpful lady at breakfast station. Good selection for breakfast.

The hotel is located in a lively square, perfect for socializing with the locals. It is conveniently close to the underground and within walking distance of major attractions such as the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia. The rooms are clean and have all the necessary amenities, including a bidet/toilet combo. The breakfast offers a good variety of pastries and beverages, including a fantastic cappuccino machine.

The mattress in my room was not very comfortable.

The location was ideal, with plenty of great restaurants and attractions nearby. The staff was helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The room we stayed in wasnice and neat, providing us with a good night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious, with options to start the day. The only downside was the noise from the nearby square at night, but overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Rome.

the shower in my room was quite small with a clingy shower curtain, made it uncomfortable to use.

Situated in a lively area, it was only a few minutes' walk to the iconic Colosseum. The hotel itself is nestled in a beautiful square, providing a charming backdrop for my stay.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was wonderful and I couldn't fault it.
